I was born July 17, 1971, in Moscow. My mother (instrumentation engineer, forced to work as a receptionist in a dry cleaners to feed the family) - always inspired and supported. His father (professor, doctor of economic sciences) never gave any moral or material support. Alexander Nevsky is a shining example of a man who completely made himself.

As a child he was engaged in basketball, in his youth he went in for boxing, and then bodybuilding. At the age of 15 he weighed only 60 kg with a height of 194 cm and had a biceps volume of 26 cm. After 10 years of persistent training with loads, at the height of 198 cm he weighed about 140 kg and had a biceps volume of 57,5 cm. He became the first Russian bodybuilder who managed to attract media attention - he took part in numerous TV and radio programs, was represented in hundreds of newspaper and magazine publications. Inspired many Russians by his example to lead a healthy lifestyle and take up bodybuilding. He was an expert on physical education for children and teenagers under the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and currently works as Advisor to the Governor of Tula Region on Physical Culture and Sports. Conducted hundreds of free fitness seminars and drew public attention to the problem of anabolic steroids. Despite Internet attacks from anabolic traffickers, he continues to campaign internationally against the use of steroids, and has the support of many stars of bodybuilding and fitness.
Alexander graduated from State University of Management in Moscow (specializing in heavy industry management), studied English at the University of California (UCLA) and studied acting at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. As a matter of principle, does not play in Hollywood roles of "Russian gangsters," for which reason he refused to participate in a film by Jean-Claude Van Damme - The Secret of the Sect (The Order) and the television series Battlefield (BattleDome). Not playing the role of "Russian bandits" in Hollywood, Alexander also does not take part in all important bodybuilding competitions in a rank higher than "guest".
Alexander tries to position himself as a "Russian Schwarzenegger", to be an idol for young people and a role model, as he repeatedly tries to mention in every media interview. The goal would be noble if Russia did not have other less famous, but still achieving something athletes.
Alexander Nevsky is a vivid representative of a movement which has been gaining strength in Russia since the early 90s - poserism - the use of connections and capital to "buy" titles, achievements and privileges instead of earning them.
The main purpose of his activity is to glorify his name - PR. Rumors and scandals are used as PR, which are eventually forgotten, but Nevsky's name remains on everyone's lips. Example: the Mr. Universe 2010 scandal.
